The B Hive 2.29

The “B” Hive News February 29, 2016

Please help your student remember their homework log, folder, and math packet if they need to return one! Due tomorrow!

Do you have any of these laying around?

burlap
felt
wood
straw
rocks/pebbles
clay
sheet metal
straws
tubing

We need them for our PBL work coming up.  Please send in anything you can.  Students will be creating models to slow down erosion and may need these materials for their models.
iPad Reset
We have had a few broken screens and some mishandling of our ipads.  The district does not reimburse us for these.  We are spending some time reviewing and reminding ourselves of careful iPad handling practice.  Please talk with your son or daughter about this.

Mid-Winter Break Challenge

Name:   Mid-Winter Break Packet

Mid-Winter Break Challenge:  I hereby offer all 4th graders a challenge!  Over break, I want fun and relaxation to be on the forefront of your mind, but this is also a great time to brush up on some skills while you are on a beach somewhere or just in your cozy bedroom.  Below are explanations on three challenges that you may take part in.  Enter all or none (that would be silly), it is your choice!

Book Challenge:  Read as many pages as you can over break.  For each 50 pages you read, you will get one raffle ticket.  Write the amount of pages you read in the box below the date.  Make sure you’re accurate and honest!
