Communication:
You may contact me by calling 994-1958. If I am not available you may leave a message on voice mail. If the message is urgent, please leave the information with the school secretary. When I am focused on teaching, I don't always notice the red light indicating a message. Please feel free to email me with any questions or concerns. My email is: bertelson@aaps.k12.mi.us
Homework:
Homework might look a little different to you and your student this year. 4th graders will be asked to read for 20 minutes every night and work towards a math goal. You will receive more information on this at curriculum night. If you have any questions or concerns about this policy, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
Lunch:
Our lunch time will be 11:40- 12:28. We eat first and play second. Please refer to Ann Arbor Public School's website or the information packet sent home for information about the menu or pricing.
Student Allergies:
We have several students with food allergies, specially peanuts and tree nuts. Please avoid those as much as you can.
Snack
Students may bring in a healthy snack. Please no sugary snacks or chips.
Water:
Students may bring in a water bottle that seals tightly.
