No new homework log for this week! Students will be working on their Expo presentation and finishing up their Grit Interviews.	March is Reading Month Want to come read to our class.  Sign up here! No Spelling Words until after Spring Break!  Right now we are in the thick of Expo prep and some great science learning and we need to use that precious time.

Used Book Sale Collection Concluded

Thank you for taking the time to sort through your home collections and bring in items for A2 STEAM. We have had a fantastic turnout for the Used Book Sale! As a result, we have a very nice variety for our students and families to choose from at the sale during the Expo. Remember, all items are only a quarter! Author Ted Sanders to Visit A2 STEAM posted Mar 8, 2016, 2:23 PM by Anne Reader   [ updated Mar 8, 2016, 2:23 PM ] Ted Sanders, author of The Keepers series, will visit A2 STEAM on Tuesday, March 22 to present to 4th-7th grade students. Not only will he talk to them about the inspiration for his books and about his life as a writer, he will also be conducting science experiments! The main character of his first book, The Box and the Dragonfly, is a fellow who is curious about the world and looks at it through the lens of a scientist. In order to learn more about his mysterious magical box, Horace conducts a series of science experiments. The result of those science experiments launches the hair-raising adventures in the rest of the book! This event is generously sponsored by Nicola's Books. Books will be offered through the pre-sale order form attached to this post, as well as on the day of the event. Students may stay after the presentation for a few moments to speak with the author and get their books signed.
